En las próximas horas se inicia la Cumbre Mundial de la Sociedad de la Información
¿Qué es? Es una suerte de foro, donde participan gente de gobierno, empresa y sociedad civil para discutir:
a) Cómo las nuevas tecnologías están cambiando al mundo
b) Cómo el mundo cambiaría (o aplicaría) las nuevas tecnologías

Sobre el último apartado, Nicholas Negroponte dará a conocer aquí su Lap Top de U$ 100 diseñada para países pobres (fines educativos).

PLUS: La brecha digital -en agenda- es esa distancia, diferencia, discrepancia, grado de dificultad que existe en el acceso a las tecnologías.
Hay una "brecha" entre países desarrollados y en vías de serlo; ricos y pobres, cultos y en vías de serlo, mayores y jóvenes, hombres y mujeres (sobre todo, en algunos países musulmanes), etc.
